Wim Hof is the world-famous “Iceman.” Holder of many World Records and promoter of the principle that we can afford much more than we think.
What was the problem we had to solve?
The challenge was to capture the essence of Wim Hof’s teachings and the unique experience participants go through during the course in a visually appealing and engaging way.
Although Wim Hof’s school is mainly about exposure to cold and breathing techniques, we wanted to show with this video that it’s more than that. Being part of such a “cold” tribe was a one-of-a-kind experience.
How did we solve this problem?
We spent a week with Wim Hof’s instructors in Polish Przesieka being both course participants and film crew. The film required meticulous planning, as we could not repeat many of the shots. It was also a challenge not to disturb the course participants while showing its transcendental dimension. Flying a drone in shorts in minus temperatures is also quite a challenge.
What are the implications of this for the Wim Hof Method?
We firmly believe that this film will take viewers on an interesting journey through Wim’s winter kingdom. Thanks to the film, new participants want to take part in this unique experience because they believe it is a life-changing experience.
