We have always wanted to make a full-length film. And that’s exactly what happened! We shot our debut documentary “How to change the mind with movement”. However, in order for it to become a reality, we had to go our way. Briefly about it.
Mojo 1.0 – We shoot videos
Mojo was launched in 2018. Dominik learned to practice by making videos for YouTube, and small assignments. The wind in the wings was added by some “golden shots” that were able to reach up to 250,000 views on YT. In retrospect, however, we know that without them there would be no experience and even more love for video.
Mojo 2.0 – First ads for the international market
At the end of 2019, Simon joined Mojo. That iconic evening in our beloved Glinn (thank you from the bottom of our hearts Ania) officially tied up the pirate crew. However, a while later, 2020 came and COVID hit the world, and the video industry went into a flare. It was time for us to make a course correction of our pirate ship and reinvent Mojo, so to speak. We set our sights on expanding outside of Poland as well, and from order to order, we started doing commercials for European markets as well. However, we continuously fantasized about our first full-length film.
Mojo 3.0 – “We are making our debut with our feature-length documentary”.
We are getting to the point where with and after a year of work on the film “How to change the mind with movement” we can finally show it to the world.The film was born out of an inner need to tell through the medium of film what is important to us in life – namely, the salutary effects of physical activity on our mental health.We tell the story in a scientific, but at the same time human and down-to-earth way – distributing our narrative to experts, teachers of various forms of movement and “ordinary” everyday heroes, for whom movement has often saved lives.
We are already after the cinema premieres – Wroclaw’s in and Warsaw’s in.
We watched our film in front of full audiences. Unusual moments, they will always remain that “first time”.
And last Thursday, the film went to open and free access on YouTube for everyone.After four days of publication, the video is about to hit 100,000 views.
Since Thursday’s online premiere we’ve been receiving, at this stage already, hundreds(!) of comments, voices, opinions, about how our film is hitting people’s hearts and heads. I guess we weren’t ready for this, but it’s wonderful. With this we would like to say, it’s never too late to correct course and set new goals.
